B Corps are expected to do everything possible to minimize their ecological footprint. In our case, this means focusing on every aspect of the process. From sustainable materials to water reuse, efficient logistics, and the reuse of waste heat.
We also excel in energy performance, thanks in part to our solar panels. We have a total of 5,828 panels on our roofs, generating 1,813,274 kWh of electricity annually. This allows our laundry to operate almost entirely on self-generated power on sunny days, contributing to addressing some of the biggest challenges of our time.
Water Consumption per kg of Laundry
With the commissioning of our own water purification plant in 2023, water consumption has already decreased significantly and remained stable in 2024 and 2025. From 2026, the water purification plant will also return clean water to the Hospitality laundry, which will further reduce total water consumption. The figures relate to the water consumption of all Nedlin laundries combined.

In 2020 and 2021, the volume of processed laundry decreased due to the impact of Covid-19 on Nedlin Hospitality. With the end of the pandemic and the growth of Nedlin, the volume has risen again, and we expect to continue this trend in 2026.
