A career in high-tech at Limburg Entrepreneur of the Year.

Imagine a high-tech environment with X-ray scanners and pick robots. A growing company with a high degree of automation. With a focus on the future and plenty of opportunities for personal development. Welcome to the new laundry facility of Nedlin Healthcare, the most sustainable and innovative laundry in Europe. We're looking for you.

Picture a clean, comfortable setting. On one side, dirty laundry arrives. X-ray scanners check coats and pants for any remaining objects. Pick robots sort the laundry. Towels, sheets, and workwear swirl in large bags through the air. Employees ensure the process runs smoothly. The atmosphere is great, your colleagues are proactive and resilient. They are hard workers who care about the laundry and each other.

Robotisering

If you want to enter the clean side of the laundry, you first pass through a hygiene sluice. You disinfect your hands and put on a hairnet. In this part of the laundry, clean laundry emerges from the wash tubes. Here too, robotics and automation have taken over the heaviest tasks. The laundry is dried, ironed, and repaired if necessary. It's then packaged and transported with energy-efficient trucks to hospitals throughout the Netherlands and Belgium.

A revolution in laundry services

The new Nedlin Healthcare laundry is currently under construction. Some machines are already being tested in the existing facility. A robot grabs the linens at two points and delivers them - perfectly positioned - to the folding machine. If you're familiar with robotics, you'll know how innovative this is. A milestone, never seen before. Once the new building is ready, the machine will move to its new location.

Thus, this laundry facility integrates the latest technologies, developed in collaboration with partners both domestically and internationally. In addition to various robots, the laundry will feature its own water purification system, reuse of waste heat, and sophisticated washing processes operating at low temperatures. 2,200 solar panels will provide energy supply. Thanks to these smart measures, energy consumption will decrease from 0.09 to 0.06 cubic meters of gas per kilogram of laundry, resulting in a CO2 reduction of 910,546 kilograms per year.

New expertise

With all these new installations and machines comes a demand for new expertise. Some of this knowledge currently resides with our suppliers, knowledge that we will integrate into our own organization throughout 2022. Therefore, we are seeking individuals to strengthen our technical team. Are you interested in working for a company that consistently looks ahead?
