Expansion enables innovation and transparency
At Nedlin, we work non-stop to improve the quality of the end product and the service we provide to our customers. As our laundry facilities for industrial companies in Hoensbroek have reached their capacity, we are expanding and completely refurbishing this location. This is the moment to implement the latest innovations in our production process and to make sustainable choices. ‘As a family business, we are choosing solutions for the long term,’ says director Stef de Win. He explains the new building plans together with the plant manager, Sven Görtzen.

‘Being sociable is appreciated in every culture’
A family business like Nedlin builds up long-lasting relationships with its employees and invests in people. They now manage Hotel Beaumont in Maastricht and its restaurant, Harry's, named after their father Harrie. Below is an interview with the two brothers, who reveal the ups and downs of this 105-year-old family company.

Nedlin does not make any compromises when it comes to quality. Director Stef de Win and Hospitality Production Manager Björn Frijns discuss perfectionism, light panels, and peanut butter. 'Our strength lies in the fact that we deliver consistent quality 365 days a year,' stresses De Win straight away. 'We do what we promise, regardless of how busy it is. That is something that really sets us apart.'

Three generations driven by progress
Nedlin is celebrating its 65th anniversary in 2017. The De Win family has been at the helm of this family-owned business for three generations. Following in the footsteps of their grandfather Jeu and their father Erik, the De Win brothers Stef and Luuk have been running the laundry company since 2001. Erik still works for the company behind the scenes, acting as a sounding board. What does Nedlin’s 65th anniversary mean to the father and sons? And is the drive to succeed really in their genes?
